Program Educational Objectives

  • Graduates of the program shall have a strong background in pharmaceutical sciences and will be able to use the acquired knowledge in the Pharmaceutical industry, pharmacies and/or institutes wherever necessary.
  • To provide students with a solid foundation in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy fundamentals as per the requirement of Pharmaceutical Industries, Community and Hospital Pharmacy and also to pursue higher studies.
  • To train students with good knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, Pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, Drug properties & Chemistry, formulation & development, analytical aspects & utilized in research, design, and create novel Herbal & Synthetic Pharmaceutical products in new drug development, for the benefit of human beings.

  • To inculcate in students professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills, teamwork skills, multidisciplinary approach, and an ability to relate Pharmaceutical Sciences issues to the broader social context.

  • Graduates of the program will be able to evaluate pros and cons, benefits and deficiencies of the matter, they studied, pharmaceutical technology they learned and ideology they observed in the field of Pharmaceutical sciences and develop them as entrepreneurs.
  • To be aware of the patent policies and government policies and implement them for the purpose made to.

Programme Outcomes

At the end of the program, a successful Graduates would be enlighten to

a) Apply knowledge of Pharmaceutical science, biostatistics, Life Sciences, analytical knowledge and Research knowledge to solve the problems in industry and Graduate who can participate and succeed in competitive examinations.

b) An ability to thinking analytically for identify, formulate and solving problems in Pharmaceutical Industry, Community & Hospital Pharmacy problems as well as day to day activities.

c) Demonstrate planning abilities Develop and apply the skills like time management, resource management, organization skills and delegation skills in professional and social life.

d)Leadership qualities to maintain the team while working in industry and while conducting any programmes to succeed and excel.

e) Apply the principles of pharmacy profession to educate the society people about awareness, prevention, protection and management of health care issues.(The pharmacist and society)

f) An ability to conduct, analyze and interpret data of pharmaceutical experiments in production, Quality control & Quality assurance and design formulation & Synthetic process as per needs and specifications in Pharmaceutical Industries & Marketing, Health care profession, Academics and in society. (Professional identity)

g) An ability to apply ethical principles in professional and social contexts and apply ethical principle while making decisions and take responsibility for outcomes associated with the decisions as per Pharmaceutical jurisprudence.

h) An able to communicate effectively with the pharmacy community in both verbal and written form and Communicate effectively with an elite audience, make effective presentations, write effective reports and documentation.

i) Show the understanding of impact of Pharmaceutical sciences on the society and An ability to recognize the need for profession and ability to engage in independent and Life-long learning in the broadest context of technical change.


j) Ability to get Knowledge in Research & development in all disciplines of Pharmaceutical sciences by aware of modern issues and learn, select, and appropriate methods and procedures, resources, and pharmacy related computing tools with an understanding of the limitations.


k) Apply the principles of Environmental science to protect nature and educate the people about pollution, deforestation and disasters and its solutions.
